Who We Are

About the CYRRC

The Child and Youth Refugee Research Coalition (CYRRC) brought together academics, community partners, and government agencies to conduct research and mobilize knowledge that promotes the social integration, education, and mental and physical wellbeing of refugee children and youth in Canada. From 2017 to 2024, our membership grew to include 250 members, we funded 80 research projects, and produced over 40 executive summaries and infographics. Our knowledge mobilization outputs also included two podcast series and a forum designed to give youth with refugee experience a platform to amplify their voices.
