Serperi Sevgur is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology, Dalhousie University and a lecturer at the Department of Sociology at Saint Mary’s University. Her PhD thesis is on Georgian migrant women who work in the domestic sector in Turkey. Her research interests range from the experiences of migrants possessing different skill levels, and refugee children and youth in Canada, to global feminization of migration.
