I obtained a Degree in Greek Philology from the University of Athens. In 2001, I moved to the UK and completed an MPhil in General Linguistics in the University of Oxford and a DPhil in Syntax in the University of Cambridge. Since 2016, I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta, where I teach and do research on topics related to morphosyntactic typology and heritage language acquisition. I am also a member of the St. George’s Hellenic School of Edmonton, where I teach and provide professional development seminars to language teachers.
