CYRRC-MHCC SPARK Knowledge Translation Training Program

CYRRC is pleased to be partnering with the Mental Health Commission of Canada to offer an online Knowledge Translation (KT) training program: 

SPARK: Refugee Children, Youth, and Family Settlement 

Workshop dates: November 2nd to 25th, 2021 

Followed by 1 year of mentorship support 

Applications are open from August 31 to September 28, 2021 at Midnight, ET. 

If you have an idea that supports refugee child, youth, and family settlement, you are invited to apply for our SPARK virtual training program:

The SPARK program will give you the resources to:

Projects may focus on refugee health (including social determinants of health such as housing, food security, socio-economic status, etc.), mental health, schooling, language acquisition, employment, and social or cultural integration. Other topics that support refugee settlement may also be considered.

The SPARK program will take place November 2-25, 2021. 

*Adjustments will be made for Remembrance Day (November 11) 

The workshop will be followed by one year of mentorship support.

Cost

The training costs are fully subsidized by CYRRC; however, participants are asked to pay a $75 fee to cover administrative costs. This fee may be waived if it poses a barrier. Please indicate in your application if the registration fee poses a barrier for you.
