Child and Youth Refugee Research Coalition (CYRRC) researchers are committed to conducting rigorous research, promoting best practices and engaging in knowledge mobilization activities to improve settlement outcomes for refugee young people and their families. Last year, the CYRRC funded 23 research projects on social integration, economic outcomes, education, mental and physical wellbeing of refugee children, youth and families in Canada and elsewhere.

We are currently accepting proposals for projects within the scope of the following research clusters:

Individual project grants will be awarded in the $10,000 to $20,000 range, dependent on the Cluster. Projects must have a clear focus on refugee children, youth or families. All CYRRC co-investigators, collaborators and Education and Service Provider (ESPO) partners are eligible to apply. Associate members are encouraged to partner with CYRRC co-investigators, collaborators or ESPO partners. Every project must involve at least one academic and one community partner.
