I am currently a Research Associate with the Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP) at the University of British Columbia. My research and training have been grounded in the fields of educational psychology, developmental psychology, and human development. In this space, I am interested in the intersection between migration and child development and my research is mainly focused on understanding how we can support new young Canadians (i.e., children and adolescents who come to Canada as immigrants or refugees) to thrive over time – socially, emotionally, and academically.
